Police Department | Mayor's Court
The Elmwood Mayors Court is presided over by Magistrate Joseph Candito. Court is held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 5:30 pm.
At the bottom of your ticket, you will see indicated which court you were cited. For questions regarding appearances in Elmwood Place Mayors Court, please call (513)-242-2578.
How can i pay my citation?
- Online – at www.ohioticketpayments.com/ElmwoodPlace/DocketSearch.php your citation will be available online after 5pm on the following business day. A convenience charge fee will be applied
- Sign the waiver on back of the citation and mail it with a check or money order to Elmwood Place Mayors Court. There is a $35.00 fee for any bad check.
- In person with cash, check, money order, Visa or Mastercard at the Elmwood Place Mayors Court, Mon-Fri 12p-5p

Your payment is due by 5pm on your court date or you must appear at 5:30 pm. If you have not paid the citation by 5pm on your court date then you must appear. Failing to appear will result in the following:
- The original fine (only) will be doubled
- A warrant for your arrest will be issued
- An additional $25.00 warrant fee will be added to your case
- A forfeiture (cancellation) of your driver's license regardless of issuing state, and your vehicle registration blocked from renewal
What if you can't attend court on my assigned date?
You may obtain a continuance by 5pm on the day before your scheduled appearance. To obtain a continuance you may contact the mayors court clerk at (513)-242-2578 or by email to mayorscourt@elmwoodplace-oh.gov
